This is a guide to completing Sitting and Waiting, a request in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Here you can find what kind of photo you need, and how to take it, in order to clear Sitting and Waiting, as well as the reward!

Beach (Night) Walkthrough: List of Pokemon and How to Unlock

The battle between Seviper and Zangoose is the trigger for the Sitting and Waiting request, so be sure to do this part first. Each time you attempt the request, you'll need to follow these steps first.
If you snap a photo of Seviper battling with Zangoose, you'll also be able to fulfil the request for When Archenemies Meet, so it's a good idea to get them on the same run.
How to Clear When Archenemies Meet Request Walkthrough
After entering the water, take the branching path, which can be found by scanning the area.
A Primarina will be on the path you take, so throw an Illumina Orb at the nearby Crystalbloom. This will trigger the Illumina Phenomenon in the Primarina, who will begin singing a new song.
On the other side of the beach of Primarina, you should see Zangoose, who is put in a good mood after the new song is sung. Zoom in and get a photo to complete the request.
Getting a photo of the singing Primarina will earn you a 4 star photo. Since you can take it from up close, it is a really easy way to get a diamond rating too, but don't forget to snap one of Zangoose as well!
Completing this request will earn you the sticker Hat 4.

Heads up, it is not necessary to make Zangoose and Seviper fight for this quest. You do have to hit Primarina with the orb in the beginning for both quests, but for "Sitting and Waiting," only moving Primarina is required before moving to the next area and hitting the crystalbloom.
