This is a guide to completing A Casual Gesture, a request in New Pokemon Snap (Pokemon Snap 2) for the Nintendo Switch. Here you can find what kind of photo you need, and how to take it, in order to clear A Casual Gesture, as well as the reward!
List of Contents
|Course||Beach (Night) Lv. 2|
|How to Unlock||・After your first expedition in Beach (Night)|
|Request Text||・“Have you ever seen Octillery scratch its head? It only does it rarely, so it's hard to catch on camera.”|
In order to clear A Casual Gesture, you need to head to the Northern part of the stage, so don't take the branching path whenever it appears.
A Seviper will apporoach the Octillery. This will scare Octillery and cause it to flinch, so wait for that.
As soon as the Octillery flinches, throw an Illumina Orb at the nearby Crystalbloom. After doing this, Octillery will shoot ink out to shoot the Seviper away.
After the Seviper leaves, Octillery will walk forward, and then scratch its head. Zoom in advance to get the photo at the right time (the burst function is useful if you have unlocked it). A photo of Octillery scratching its head will complete the request.
Clearing this request will reward you with the Rita (Smiling) Profile Icon.
