Heads up, it is not necessary to make Zangoose and Seviper fight for this quest. You do have to hit Primarina with the orb in the beginning for both quests, but for "Sitting and Waiting," only moving Primarina is required before moving to the next area and hitting the crystalbloom.
The "pose" you need is Zangoose swaying to the song.

At the beginning of the course, be sure to hit Primarina with an Illumina orb as she in the middle of the water. This will make her swim left when she jumps off the rock, instead of right. Continue on the course and take the path to the left where Zangoose is sitting. Primarina will be singing next to the Crystabloom. Light up the Crystabloom which will make her sing a different song. Be sure to snap a picture of Zangoose during her new song. This is what he's been waiting for! :) ~Meranda
