Flack Profile
"A half-rate gunslinger like me still can't stand on the same stage
as the great Cordie... But, I'll practice lots and lots till I get good enough to perform 'longside her! "- Flack
A traveling gunslinger with a great admiration for Cordie. Spending days in despair running from the Inquisition, Flack sees Cordie's show and regains a lost sense of joy. Flack decides to strive to make others smile too, just like Cordie. Flack's accent comes out when relaxed.

Flack Story
Life on the Run Before Meeting Cordie
“How long will this go on...? Where...should I even run to...? If life was gonna be like this, I should never even been...!”- Flack
Ever since she had found out that she was a witch, Flack had always lived a life on the run. A cycle of running and hiding from the Inquisition, in a constant state of fear and misery. But one day, she hears laughter - a traveling gunslinger was in town, performing in the street. Cordie was the best gunslinger in the world, and despite Flack's scruffy appearance, the former invited the latter to join her show.
Of course, being a newcomer to gunslinging, Flack messes up the act - only for Cordie to turn it around and turn it into a funny moment that makes the audience applaud the show. This was Flack's first taste of genuine joy and belonging.
So, inspired by Cordie's charisma and kindness, Flack decided to become a traveling performer herself.
Trying to Be Another Gunslinger
“When I shot her a smile, light returned to her vacant eyes. And... Ahh..! She finally smiled...!”- Flack
But the road of the traveling gunslinger is a long and tough one, and it was no different for Flack. She came across a new town devastated by tragedy, and tried to to perform the same kind of tricks she saw Cordie do. But alas, she failed to attract any attention.
Discouraged and convinced she was worthless, Flack broke down. But in the middle of this sadness, she realized that she had one person in her audience: A girl, vacant-eyed and broken, just like how Flack was back then. So, remembering just how Cordie inspired her, Flack pulled herself together and performed with a genuine smile.
Slowly, the girl's expression softened, before finally smiling back.
Flack Personality
Flack is many things: A witch consumed by despair and self-doubt, but still capable of believing in herself enough to try new things. She aspires to be the best she can, though not because she wants to upstage her idol, Cordie, but to merely pass on the kind of smile she showed her way back then.
Flack Relationships
- Cordie - Flack's savior and idol. She was the one who, by simply inviting Flack to perform with her, turned the young witch's life around for the better.
- Girl - The unnamed girl whose sadness reflected to Flack her old self. The desire to make her smile pushes Flack forward.

| "Find that witch!" The people from the Inquisition ran down the main street, off into the distance. Till their footsteps grew faint, I couldn't stop shakin'. Ever since I awakened as a witch, this is how I've spent my days... Get found, then run. Rinse an' repeat. How long will this go on...? Where...should I even run to...? If life was gonna be like this, I should never've even been...! But, just then, I heard roars of laughter comin' from somewhere nearby. It was the kinda laughter with the warmth that could life even the lowest of spirits. The only places witches can safely survive are the darkest of back alleys. But... Feelin' as if that laughter was callin' my name, I stepped out into the light. |

| In the middle of the busy street, a travelin' gunslinger was puttin' on a show. It looked like a blast... The girl's smile drew people to her like moths to a flame. You could just tell how much she wanted to entertain everybody passin' by... I took one step, and then another, as if she was drawin' me in, too. "Well, looks like some more guests have joined us, so let's kick off another round!" Spinnin' and jugglin' her two pistols with ease, the girl caught the eye of everyone who'd gathered there. Even passersby stopped in their tracks just to watch her. Ah...! What should I do...? Before I knew it, I'd walked all the way up to the front... Even worse, I'd done it while lookin' this scruffy... Just as I was about to make my way back, I saw a hand outstretched before me. |

| "Hey, you! Help me out a little, will ya?" "Huh? Me?! Um, but I can't do any tricks...!" "Don't worry, anybody can do it! All you gotta do is throw me a ball, see?" The gunslinger passed me the ball in question, then stepped back a little. Urgh... I'm not so sure I can do this... B-But, if it's only throwin' a ball... Yah...! When I threw the ball, it ended up hurtlin' right towards the crowd... Ahh... I just knew I'd mess up... But, the very next moment, the girl spun through the air, and shot the ball clean through the middle. Her bullseye sent a shower ofcolored confetti down on the heads of the onlookers... Then, a round of applause an' laughter rang out. "Nice work! Thanks to you, that trick was a huge success!" |

| Thanks to me...? But, I messed the whole thing up... Just as I hung my head in shame, the travelin' gunslinger pushed me forward. "Now, give another big round of applause for my tiny assistant here!" "U-Um, but, I didn't..." "What're you saying? Thanks to you, everybody had a great time, didn't they? Just take a look for yourself!" Lookin' out at the crowd, everyone was clappin' with big smiles on their faces. All for a scruffy lookin' girl like me... It made me so happy, I felt myself break into a smile. "You probably have a knack for making people smile, y'know. I mean, just look at what a great smile you've got!" "Alright, I can't let you take all the spotlight. Gather 'round, 'cause the world's greatest gunslinger Cordie's show is far from over!" That was my fated meetin' with the great Cordie. |

| From that day on, I wandered the world as a travelin' gunslinger myself. It didn't change the fact that I was spendin' my days runnin' from the Inquisition. But unlike before, every day's now full of fun! I have the great Cordie to thank for that, too. It she hadn't called out to me back then, I'd be crouched down in the dark of those alleys even now. The great Cordie shone a bright light on my future. A half-rate gunslinger like me still can't stand on the same stage as the great Cordie... But, I'll practice lots and lots till I get good enough to perform 'longside her! I mean, I'm able to pull off stunts now I couldn't even dream of doin' at first. So, let's keep this gunsmoke blazin'! |

| I made it to a new town, but it feels like everybody here is sorta... down in the dumps. Oh yeah... Not too long ago, I heard a rumor 'bout a town where half its people were lost in a disaster... So that's why everyone looks so sad... Alright then, I'll give everyone a reason to smile again! Just like the great Cordie did for me! "How d'you do, folks? Now gather...'round..." H...Huh...? Not only is nobody comin' up to me... nobody's even turned their head to look. In that case, I'll reel 'em in with a pop of color from one of my rainbow bullets! N-Not even a glance, huh? Maybe if I send 'em flowers carried by balloons... That didn't work, neither... Th-Then, I'll use my special ball to... But, just as I went to grab it, my tremblin' hands dropped the ball to the ground. It rolled a ways before gettin' crushed underfoot, its confetti surprise spillin' out for all to see. "A...Ahaha... Looks like I messed up..." While gatherin' all the loose confetti, I lifted my head to see if anyone was watchin'. But, nobody paid me the slightest attention... Guess I'm really no good, after all... As if I could ever had the ower to make somebody smile...! Uuu...!With the crumpled tatters of the confetti clutched in my fists, I crouched down on the spot and cried. |

| I don't have the power to make people smile... It only makes sense, I guess. No matter how much I copy the great Cordie, it's not like I can ever be her. Liftin' my head after a spell, I noticed a girl was watchin' me. Her eyes had lost any trace of emotion... just like my eyes had back then... But, I've changed since then...! After meetin' the great Cordie, the once dark world around me seemed to gain new light. "You probably have a knack for making people smile, y'know." Heh... I really am just half-rate. I wasn't smilin' one bit. If I look this unsure of myself, nobody's gonna wanna watch. If I wanna real 'em in, I've gotta put a smile on my own face first. 'Cause that's how the great Cordie's smile got me! "Come one, come all! The travelin' gunslinger Flack's show is about to begin!" I continued performin' my show. Everyone kept on walkin' past me, but I made sure to keep a smile on my face just the same. But while I performed, the girl from before walked up to watch me. Just like I did that day... "Get ready, 'cause these next tricks are gonna be even flashier! When I shot her a smile, light returned to her vacant eyes. And... Ahh..! She finally smiled...! |
