If Lucille or an ally takes damage via dealing damage to self, this skill inflicts 1 stack of Radiant Light to 3 random enemies for 2 turns (5 stacks max). [Radiant Light] increases the damage all afflicted targets take by 1% for each stack they are afflicted with.

Budget Crimson SPD Buffer, Fast DPS for PvP if You Play Crimson

If you happen to be maining a Crimson team in PvP or even PvP, Lucille is a good addition to your team because of her support abilities. She can:

  • Increase the SPD of all Crimson soul allies by up to 20% (with a unique weapon at UR).
  • Decrease the skill cooldown of the ally with the highest ATK by 2 turns.
  • Make enemies take more damage by debuffing them with [Radiant Light]

These make her a great, though not exactly essential, addition to a Crimson team. She can synergize well with Artoria (since Lucille will inflict Radiant Light to enemies every time Artoria hurts herself), Spring Shizu (for the same reasons), and Winter Soltina (if you are using Luciille as a DPS).

Even if you don't want to use Lucille as a DPS, she's already good enough at one copy. All you need to do is get her unique weapon, Liberation's Light, to UR rarity to unlock most of her kit (the 20% SPD buff for Crimson allies).

Needs Heavy Investment If Needed as a Crimson DPS

However, if you do want to use her as a DPS, you will need to invest in Lucille - especially if you intend to use her in PvP. She needs to be at least in LR rarity so she has the proper stats, as well as the proper team that can work well with her buffs.

Get Either One Copy, or All The Copies You Want - and Only if You Run Crimson Teams

If you have a Crimson team and need a good support unit, Lucille is great even at one copy. If you need a DPS and don't have Spring Shizu or Artoria, you will need multiple copies of Lucille.

If you are not running a Crimson Team, Lucille is not as essential to get unless you like her Radiant Light debuff.

Common Runes for PvE, Give Her Def Break Runes for PvP

If you are using Lucille as a support, don't use your best runes on her. Use mainstat runes like STR, as well as ATK and SPD. This is if you have any runes to spare in the first place. As for defensive runes, give her HP, STA, CRIT RES, and Debuff RES.

If you are going to use her in PvP as your main DPS, however, you will need to give her PM Def Break Runes so she can cause more damage.

Lucille will help buff Artoria and Spring Shizu with ATK and SPD buffs. Artoria and Spring Shizu will benefit from Lucille's Radiant Light debuff on enemies (they will deal more damage).

Meanwhile, Winter Soltina gives a massive ATK buff to your strongest DPS, and Meria supplements Lucille's SPD buff. You should be able to strike first in a good number of PvP battles with this setup.
