Litter Box Basic Info

Litter Box may be one of the newest guilds in World 10 of MementoMori, but that hasn't stopped it from becoming the world's dominant guild. Game8 spoke with its guild master, Tactician, to find out more about the guild's origins and goals, as well as any advice they have for new players.

Litter Box: A Guild Born from Mergers

When asked about the origins of Litter Box, Tactician said it was a merger between former rivals from two opposing guilds, Sekai 6 and λ.

"We originally only stayed around for Grand Battle and would return to our own guilds," Tactician said. "However, we decided to stick together this time around. We are still kinda in the process of organizing."

This decision to merge wasn’t just about consolidating power but also about camaraderie. Tactician explained that both guilds, when they were still in their respective groups, had a healthy rivalry, and now that they’re together, they’re trying to find new ways to balance their old dynamic.

"Most of our members have been fighting for over a year and want to take it a bit easier," its GM said. The guild currently aims to give its seasoned members a chance to enjoy a more relaxed pace between Grand Battles while still offering an opportunity for action when the time comes.

The State of Guild Battles in World 10

As for the state of World 10, Tactician admits, "Kinda hard to say. We had a healthy rivalry when we were Sekai 6 and λ separate, but now that we are merged, I am not sure." However, the guild has plans to keep World 10's Guild Battles alive.

"We do want to make sure war doesn’t die by leaving the bottom of the map for smaller guilds," Tactician mentioned, emphasizing the need for a competitive environment for all players despite representing World 10's strongest guild. Additionally, the guild is considering using λ as a secondary guild for members who want more frequent battles between Grand Battles.

Advice for New Players

One area that Tactician believes could be improved in MementoMori is the explanation of certain unlockable content. "I think the game can explain certain unlockable content better like Invocation of Chance not being advertised very well when you first start." They also pointed out that the game could clarify the calculation of important variables like damage and speed, which aren’t always clear to new players.

The Invocation of Chance is an Invocation Banner that allows you to pull for the character of your choice with an increased pull rate, alongside important leveling items and other resources. It is unlocked after clearing Quest 11-28 in the Main Quest.

As for advice to beginners, Tactician offers some wisdom from their own experience: "I think I would say don't take the game too seriously, maybe. I spent more time than I would care to admit on it for a while and burned myself out." Balancing enjoyment with progress is key to maintaining long-term interest in the game.

As of this writing, Litter Box is World 10's top guild, with more than 10 billion BP overall. It also holds more than half of the positions in World 10's Guild Battle map.
