Hololive Basic Info

Named after the popular Virtual Youtuber agency, Hololive is one of the stronger guilds in World 4 with nearly full membership, though it is open to all applicants. Game8 spoke with its guild master, Swordbyte, about their guild, as well as tips they have for players who are new to the game.

The Most Optimal Setup for Cordie

When starting out, the oft-recommended characters to get for beginners are usually Cordie and Florence. For Cordie specifically, Sworbyte recommends getting her SPD and PM. DEF Break runes as soon as possible, all at Level 11. "I would probably have hit the brick wall much later in the game," they said.

Building up Cordie specifically is a recommended strategy because she also becomes useful in PvP against players who are not using tanky units like Soltina or Tainted Iris. Once she gets her Unique Weapon, Jack & Pot, she also turns into one of the strongest debuffs in the game, with the ability to decrease her enemy's DEF by 80% for 2 turns.

Since 2016, Virtual YouTubers, or VTubers for short, have gained momentum as popular types of entertainers online, especially in the West. So it is no surprise that even in MementoMori there was a guild that started because its members tended to have an interest in Vtubers.
