Elf: finish Bellara's quest - Anaris: choose "We must stop the Gods" then the special dialogue Human: finish Neve's quest - Aelia: choose "We are worthy" then the special dialogue Qunari: finish Taash's quest - Dragon King: choose "Solas is helping me" then the special dialogue Dwarf: finish Harding's quest - Titan's Heart: choose "We must stop the blight" then the special dialogue
The option you get is based on what race you are - Elf get Bellara choice if her quest is done, Human get Neve if her quest is done….etc. If you are a human, having Bellara’s quest done will get you nothing as you need Neve’s quest done. Nothing to do with faction either; all about what race you are.
First time actually reading the comments here and was about to post about this. Same result with Harding being herself. Also did all of Bellara’s missions and the Anaris option didn’t show up (reloaded save to find out instant worthiness as a dwarf). Currently romancing Harding, so I don’t know whether or not bond level is an issue (Harding - 10, Bellara - 9).
In the first time I played a dwarf I also for the first time chose to have Harding embrace the anger of the Titans so one or both of those being true could affect the outcome. Anyway, I got a prompt while talking about the blight. It's something like "I felt the Titan's pain." Mythal feels regret that the blight will cause the Titans pain to be everyone's pain so she deems Rook worthy immediately.
I had the neve thing happen too, maybe because my rook is from the same faction as her? I did all of bellara quests before I went to talk to her and it never came up
When choosing “We are worthy…” and asked “what is a protector to you?”, I noticed in my different gameplays that: 1. Nerve as protector of Dock Town 2. Bellara defeating Anaris Can short circuit the conversation and have Mythal agree immediately. I can’t tell if it works with other companions depending on their personal quest progression and choices.
