As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Glen will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Def / -Res

The best IVs for Kyle are +Def and -Res. As a support/tank hybrid unit, Glen appreciates having more Def to stack on top of his already high base 47 Def to absorb physical attacks from his foes.

Glen's Res is abysmal at only base 20 and should be taken as a bane as boosting it further will not change the fact that he will fall in combat to any decent magical attacker.

+Def for a +10 merge

How to Use, Explanation

This build provides support in a wide area with Sunstone's Blade and Breath of Life 4 to provide sustain. Guidance is relegated to the Sacred Seal slot to make room for Breath of Life 4; you may instead use Soaring Guidance or Guidance 4 in the C slot if mobility is more important.

Sunstone's Blade is a fantastic support weapon

Glen's exclusive sword Sunstone's Blade grants Atk/Def+4 to allies within 3 rows or 3 columns centered on unit during their combat and restores 10 HP to those allies after their combat.

This is a great effect, providing stat bonuses and post-combat healing as support to allies in a wide area all built-in to his weapon skill.

In combat, Sunstone's Blade grants Glen Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, damage reduction equal to 15% of his Def, a guaranteed follow-up attack, and 10 HP post-combat healing.

Equipping support skills on Glen's other skill slots will allow him to aid his team even more, and if necessary, Glen can even fulfill a physical tank role with his very high base 47 Def and Sunstone's Blade in-combat effects.

Glen Weaknesses

While Glen's physical bulk is impressive, his magical bulk is quite lackluster with his low base 20 Res.

Glen is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
