When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-HP

The best IVs for Laegjarn are +Spd and -HP. A higher Spd stat allows Laegjarn helps her avoid follow-up attacks. It also widens the range of enemies whom she can dish follow-up attacks onto. Both HP and Res are of less importance to her, but since her Res is a superbane, it is safer to take HP as her bane instead.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Laegjarn to 10. At 10 merges, Laegjarn's Def will be very high and it would be pointless to increase her Def even further. It is better to opt for a +Spd IV instead as it will allow her to execute more follow-up attacks. With +10 merges, Laegjarn's Spd stat will reach 46 enabling her to execute follow-up attacks for a wide range of foes. If you have access to skills that buff Spd for Laegjarn to inherit or from allies who can buff her, you can choose to use a +Atk IV instead.

How to Use, Explanation

Laegjarn's refined Níu grants her the Null Follow-Up effect, which neutralizes the drawback of Windsweep 3 while retaining the benefits. Double Atk/Spd Solo ensures that Laegjarn wins the Windsweep check. Spd/Def Rein also aids in the Windsweep check while reducing the foe's Def to allow Laegjarn to deal more damage.

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Níu

Níu's refine will grant Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to Laegjarn during combat and will also grant her the Null Follow-Up 3 effect.

This is extremely potent and makes Laegjarn even more powerful due to Níu already giving her bonuses equal to 40% of total bonuses on her and her target during combat.

Laegjarn is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Laegjarn Strengths

Makes use of Enemy's bonuses

Laegjarn's weapon, Níu, adds 40% of total bonuses on all stats currently active on foe to Laegjarn during combat.

It is easy to stack with other buffs as it is an in-combat buff. Additionally, it works in both phases allowing Laegjarn to take advantage of foe bonuses whenever she enters combat.

The weapon refine also grants her additional buffs and the Null Follow-Up 3 effect, meaning that she can attack and almost always guarantee a follow-up attack, increasing her one-shot potential.

Can raise your arena score

R Duel Flying is a special skill that treats the unit’s stats as 170 in the Arena, allowing your overall score to increase when using her. It is usable by any red flying unit, so equip it and increase your score as you would like, but keep in mind that as an A slot skill it means you will lose the ability to equip powerful skills such as Fury 4.

Laegjarn Weaknesses

Low Res

Laegjarn's Res only sits at 17 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for magic users to take her out. Be mindful of Laegjarn's positioning in relation to magical units that can easily take her out.

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Laegjarn takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
