When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Spd/-HP

The best IVs for Tanith are +Spd and -HP. Boosting Tanith's Spd allows her to perform follow-up attacks more easily and prevent enemy follow-up attacks more often at the same time. It is also a superboon, so you should take advantage of it as much as possible!

Her HP is a dump stat and lowering it further will not change most of her matchups. Thus, -HP is the bane of choice.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Tanith to +10. At this point, her Spd will be high enough to compete with the fastest units in the game, especially with Spd-boosting skills and support!

Tanith is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Tanith's Atk/Def bonuses in action

In addition to her decent stats, Tanith also has:

  • Steadfast Sword+ which grants +5 Atk/Def and neutralizes penalties to said stats during combat.
  • Sturdy Blow 2+ which grants a further +4 Atk/Def in the player phase during combat.

Combined, Tanith can score some good matchups against physical foes.

Flier Formation 3 grants extra mobility

Flier Formation 3 allows Tanith to move to spaces that are adjacent to units 2 squares away. This allows Tanith to potentially jump from unit to unit and help them through attacking nearby foes or by triggering skills that require an adjacent ally. This skill provides lots of strategic value if you are using at least two other flying units aside from Tanith.

For Tanith, it also helps her to keep the effects of Steadfast Sword+ online.

Tanith Weaknesses

Mediocre Spd stat

While 40 Spd at 5★ Lv. 40 certainly is not low, this is not enough to outspeed more powerful units especiallly given that she does not have skills to boost her Spd. However, this is a great base so if she gets skills, merges, flowers, support and others, she can definitely win outspeeds and score follow-up attacks.

Needs investment

Since she was not released as a 5★ unit, she does not possess premium fodder. For her to be able to make an impact in competitive maps, Summoners will have to invest on her.

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Tanith takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Despite her strong Def stats, stay clear from bow units!
