Since the Thunder Cage is a submachine gun, you will face issues with high recoil and low ammo capacity. Despite that, the movement speed it provides allows you to close the distance! With that in mind, you can engage in short to mid-range skirmishes without recoil issues.

To address the low ammo capacity issue of the Thunder Cage, stacking magazine capacity upgrades alleviates that. Other than that, buff up the Thunder Cage's ATK and Critical Hit Rate, and you should have a weapon that will last you through hard mode.

How to Fix the Thunder Cage Mounting Bug

Re-equip the Weapon from Inventory

Thunder Cage Mounting is a weapon optimization that enhances the weapon when equipped as the main weapon. However, there's an ongoing bug causing this boost to be lost, with no current explanation for why it occurs.

If you encounter this issue, simply store the weapon back in your inventory and then re-equip it to regain the boost.
