Tropical Forest Remix Tips and Strategy

Complete the Bridge First

The level of difficulty is increased greatly this time in the Tropical Forest Remix, but just as with the Tropical Forest, aim to complete the bridge first. Fruit retrieval is also important, but if the bridge is not completed, transport will become inefficient.

Use the Bomb Rocks to Progress

To shorten time, using the Bomb Rock to progress is key. The Bomb Rock is especially recommended to defeat the Orange Bulborb located in the northern area. It is possible to defeat the enemy in one blow, so make sure to proactively use the Bomb Rocks.

Tropical Forest Remix Platinum Medal Walkthrough

1: Split into 2 Groups and Explore

Alph

First, retrieve the nearby Red Pikmin and defeat the Fiery Blowhog. Afterward, gather even more Red Pikmin and send a few back to the starting area from the Bouncing Mushroom. Then, go destroy the dirt wall that is in the location of the bridge.

Brittany

Gather White and Yellow Pikmin as well as some Red Pikmin from Alph and defeat the Pyroclasmic Slooch. After that, reunite with Yellow Pikmin and use a Bomb Rock to destroy the nearby dirt wall.

2: Retrieve the Pieces and Complete the Bridge

Alph

Receive Yellow Pikmin from Brittany and destroy the electric gate. Immediately defeat the Bulborb on the other side and begin transporting the bridge pieces. After that, use any excess Pikmin to continue retrieving nuggets and fruit.

Brittany

Give Alph some Yellow Pikmin and head out to defeat the Orange Bulborb. We recommend using another Bomb Rock to take it down in one blow.

3: Completely Concentrate on Retrieving Fruit and Nuggets

After coming this far, all that's left is retrieving fruits which are; Juicy Gaggle, Dawn Pustules, Cupid's Grenade, and Seed Hive. Also enemies, and Nuggets. There are many and it will take time, but aim to split up and retrieve everything. If there is time, turn the Red and Yellow Pikmin who have finished their jobs into White Pikmin in order to speed up the retrieval process and increase your points.
