Use the Candypop Buds to make Rock Pikmin
Have each Pikmin defeat the enemy it is strong against
Carry the parts with Red and Blue Pikmin
Use Rock Pikmin and Yellow Pikmin on the Long Legs
Carry the final part with 30 Pikmin
|
At the very start, there are 4 Candypop Buds that can be used to make Rock Pikmin. Throw in 15 Blue Pikmin and 5 Red Pikmin.
The first 4 enemies you encounter are all best beaten by one of the Pikmin types, so use the right Pikmin when fighting them. The correct types to use are shown below.
Order | Enemy | Effective Pikmin |
---|---|---|
① | Bearded Amprat | Yellow Pikmin |
② | Watery Blowhog | Charge with all Pikmin |
③ | Pyroclasmic Slooch | Red Pikmin |
④ | Calcified Crushblat | Rock Pikmin to break the shell → All Pikmin |
After taking out the four enemies here, only the Baldy Long Legs and Shaggy Long Legs appear, so you should be fine as long as you have Rock Pikmin and Yellow Pikmin. Make sure to use Red and Blue Pikmin to do the lifting.
Rock Pikmin and Yellow Pikmin are effective against the Baldy Long Legs and Shaggy Long Legs. Rock Pikmin won't be killed even if stepped on, so they are ideal for climbing up the legs of the Shaggy Long Legs, while Yellow Pikmin can be thrown directly at the round center of the creature, so they are good against the Baldy Long Legs. However, Yellow Pikmin will die if stepped on, so be sure to keep them directly under the center of the Long Legs.
Baldy Long Legs: Locations, Weight, and How to Defeat
You'll need 20 Pikmin to pick up the final part dropped by the Shaggy Long Legs, but up to 30 can carry it at a time, with more Pikmin equalling more speed. Have 30 Pikmin lift the part to move it back a little bit quicker.
