How to Unlock Creature Hunting
Earn a Bronze Medal or higher in Pikmin Reunion
Creature Hunting is unlocked after completing Day 1: Pikmin Reunion with a Bronze medal or better. If you split Louie and Olimar up and work effectively, getting Bronze should be a piece of cake.

Only increase Pikmin in the beginning
Transporting all enemy remains back to the onion, then going back to get the Pikmin, will take a lot of time, which you cannot afford in this mission. After defeating the first few Bulborbs near the starting point and transporting them as well as the nearby pellets, don't bring other enmies back to the onion. However, do be sure to pick up any stray Pikmin you find in other areas!

Get the Ultra-Spicy Nectar right away
Proceed forward, and eventually you will come across a Bulborb, along with some Dwarf Bulborbs. Defeating the large Bulborb will allow you to pick up some Ultra Spicy Nectar, which will be very useful against tougher foes, like the Calcified Crushblat and Spotty Bulbear.
How to Use Ultra-Spicy Spray: Effects and Where to Obtain
Use the Bomb Rocks effectively
The Hermit Crawmad, Spotty Bulbear, and Peckish Aristocrab will all drop Bomb Rocks when defeated. Use these when you're faced with powerful enemies. Hitting the Peckish Aristocrab with a bomb will blow off its claw and take off about 2/3 of its health, letting you make quick work of it.
Leave no area unchecked
The Desiccated Skitter Leaf is shaped like a regular leaf, and can be easy to miss. You'll need to take out all enemies to get the Platinum Medal, so be sure not to let smaller enemies like these go. You can move your cursor around to try locking on, and check your map when unsure.

Split into two groups
Olimar and Louie are both playable in side stories. To make the best use of your time, have one actively moving around and doing something while the other is occupied breaking a wall, or doing some task that will take some time.
