Introduction
An employee of Hocotate Freight, and captain of the S.S. Dolphin. With the company on the verge of bankruptcy, he came back to PNF-404 to try and find more treasure.

Olimar is the captain of the S.S. Dolphin, a ship from the planet Hocotate. He has been captured by the final boss, a Mysterious Life Form. While Captain Olimar was the main protagonist of Pikmin 1 and 2, he is not playable in the story mode of Pikmin 3, although a large part of it revoles around trying to rescue him.

When Louie runs off with the S.S. Drake's food supply, Olimar asks Alph's party to forgive Louie for this act, showing his somewhat gentle and kind side.
