How to Get Winged Pikmin: Abilities and Where to Find

Winged Pikmin Abilities

Can easily attack flying enemies

Winged Pikmin are unique from other Pikmin because they have wings. Since they have wings, Winged Pikmin excel in aerial combat so they are great against flying enemies. For enemies and bosses that fly in the air, winged pikmin are the way to go.

Can move above water

Winged Pikmin can fly above bodies of water, which makes transporting goods a breeze. Unlike other Pikmin, Winged Pikmin will fly behind you if you enter a body of water and avoid going under, so they will be unharmed.

Use Winged Pikmin to move fruit and other items above water, but keep in mind that they are still weak to water, so if they somehow fall into the water, they'll need to be rescued right away.

Where Are the Winged Pikmin?

Twilight River

Winged Pikmin can be found in the Twilight River. You will first need to construct a bridge, then free the Pink Onion from an Arachnode's nest. This can be done by pummeling it with Rock Pikmin, or by simply throwing a Bomb Rock at it.

Winged Pikmin pellets can be found all throughout all maps after rescuing their onion.
