Twilight Hollow Platinum Medal Walkthrough (Battle Enemies!)

A guide to obtaining the platinum medal for the Battle Enemies! Mission: Twilight Hollow in Pikmin 3 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. This guide will walk you through how to clear the mission and earn a platinum medal!

Twilight Hollow Tips and Strategy

Produce More Winged Pikmin

Winged Pikmin are more useful in this mission than the other Pikmin types. Make sure to produce lots of them to deal with small enemies as well as the stronger ones.

Make Use of Ultra-Spicy Spray

The strongest enemies in this mission are the Spotty Bulbear and Calcified Crushblat. Consume an Ultra-Spicy Spray before attacking to tear them down quickly.

Twilight Hollow Platinum Medal Walkthrough

1: Collecting Pikmin

Alph

Gather the Rock Pikmin and break the glass wall ahead. Defeat all Skutterchucks outside then move to another glass wall on the west side of the map.

Brittany

Gather the Winged Pikmin and collect the nearby pellets. Pluck the new ones and head to the upper part of the central area to take out the Shearwigs.

Bring their bodies back to the Onion and position Brittany near the glass wall.

Charlie

Pluck the Red Pikmin and go to the glass wall where Alph is also heading to.

2: Team Up to Defeat Enemies

Command Alph to defeat the Shearwigs nearby before breaking the glass wall.

Regroup with Charlie and Brittany before wiping out the Pyroclasmic Slooches ahead using Red Pikmin. Bring their corpses to the Onion using Winged Pikmin.

Throw Brittany pver the ledge along with all the Winged Pikmin and have her pluck the new Winged Pikmin.

Move Alph and Charlie uphill and defeat the Male Sheargrubs.

Next, throw Charlie and all your Red and Rock Pikmin to the other side to defeat the Female Sheargrubs.

3: Defeat the Spotty Bulbear and Calcified Crushblat

Control Charlie, break the egg nearby, and collect the red nectar. Defeat the Dwarf Bulbears ahead.

Gather all the Winged Pikmin with Brittany and lift the gate to your right. Consume an Ultra-Spicy Spray and charge at the Spotty Bulbear before taking out the Dwarf Bulbears.

Have Charlie gather all your Pikmin (including the Winged Pikmin) then go all out against the Calcified Crushblat to complete the mission.
