Twilight River Remix Platinum Medal Walkthrough (Battle Enemies!)

A guide to obtaining the platinum medal for the Battle Enemies! Mission: Twilight River Remix in Pikmin 3 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. This guide will walk you through how to clear the mission and earn a platinum medal!

Twilight River Remix Tips and Strategy

Save Time by Utilizing Terrain

Utilize the terrain by cooperating with other leaders and using shortcuts to move around. This will save time and increase your total score at the end of the mission.

Consume Yellow Nectar

Attacking the Nectarous Dandelfly will make it drop yellow nectar. Have your Pikmin drink these to improve their abilities especially in combat.

Twilight River Remix Platinum Medal Walkthrough

1: Collecting Pikmin

Alph

Gather the other captains to help plucking out the Rock Pikmin then send Brittany and Charlie to the west where the Winged Pikmin are so they can pluck them.

Defeat the Dwarf Orange Bulborb and head east. Collect the pellets along the way and take the bodies of Desiccated Skitter Leaves back to the Onion.

Throw 10 Rock Pikmin on the ledge to your left so Brittany can gather them.

Brittany and Charlie

Head east to gather the Rock Pikmin and defeat the Skutterchucks with them. Bring their corpses and the pellets as well back to the Onion using the Winged Pikmin.

Destroy the crystal north and have Alph throw the rest of the Rock Pikmin to your position.

2: Defeating Enemies

Brittany

Gather all Rock Pikmin and bring three Winged Pikmin along to the north, near the glass wall.

Get a Winged Pikmin to pull the Flukeweed and break the glass wall with the Rock Pikmin. Defeat the Flighty Joustmite past the wall before pulling the Flukeweed further to the east.

Charlie

Gather the remaining Winged Pikmin and move near the dirt wall where Alph can reach them. Leave the Winged Pikmin and head east to the water area just below the Candypop Bud.

Alph

Receive the Winged Pikmin from Charlie. Have five of them pull the Flukeweed north, three on the dead Dwarf Orange Bulborb, five on another Flukeweed east, then charge the Nectarous Dandelfly with the ones left.

Move Alph to the left Onion.

3: Explore and Defeat More Enemies

Brittany

Throw both Bomb Rocks at the Calcified Crushblat. If it survived, use some Rock Pikmin to finish it off.

Throw all your Winged Pikmin along with some Rock Pikmin into the Candypop Bud until it's full. Pluck the new Blue Pikmin and throw them all at Charlie below

Move Brittany to the bridge near the starting point.

Charlie

Gather the Blue Pikmin and have them drink the yellow nectar that the Dandelfly dropped earlier.

Defeat the six Puckering Blinnows east, two near you and four more in the southern part of the river.

Alph

Head north and wipe out all the Scornets. When you're done, move Alph near Charlie's location.

4: Wiping Out the Rest

Alph

In the small area south of the river, defeat the Arachnode and the Shearwigs.

Pull the nearby Flukeweeds to obtain two Bomb Rocks and an Ultra-Spicy Spray. Move Alph below the blue bridge.

Charlie and Brittany

Regroup Charlie with Brittany. Control either of the two leaders and gather the Winged Pikmin from Alph. Go to the end of the bridge and defeat the Arachnode.

Throw the other leader on the other side and have him (or her) gather all the Winged Pikmin. Head east, take out the Dwarf Orange Bulborb, use an Ultra-Spicy Spray, and defeat the Burrowing Snagret at the end of the path to complete the mission.
