Day Limit: How Many Days Are In Pikmin 3?
This guide will explain the day limit of Pikmin 3 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch. Read on to learn how many days are there in Pikmin 3 Deluxe, as well as the maximum number of days.

Is There a Day Limit?
Unlike Pikmin 1 where you had exactly 30 days to complete the entire story, Pikmin 3 has no Day Limit per se. In Pikmin 3, you can continue playing the Story Mode for as many days as you can, so long as you have juice.
If you collect all 64 fruit, you will have enough juice to last you until the 99th day, so technically the 99th day is the limit, although the amount of days you can play for is entirely based around the amount of juice you currently have.
Starting a Day
There are indicators in your Mission HUD before you start a day which show the current day, the amount of juice you have, and the total amount of fruit per map. Keep this mind whenever you move on to a next area. You might miss a few fruits, so it is a good idea to double-check every time.
Ending a Day
At the end of each day, the S.S. Drake will catalog every new fruit acquired, and then proceed to juice it. After the juicing sequence, it will show you your current juice supply. Here you will see blank spaces reserved for future juice, an indicator showing the total amount of juice you still have left, and all the juice you have collected so far.
How Many Days Are There?
In a typical run of the Story mode, you will play about 17~20 days total. If you go back to get all fruit, this number will be about 25~27. However, as mentioned above, there is no exact number of days, so it is possible to complete the game in more or less days (with the minimum number of days being 10, if you are very good).
By collecting all 64 fruit found on all maps, you can make up to 98 servings of juice which means there are 99 Days total in the game Pikmin 3. However, unless you planned for this, it is highly unlikley you will see the 99th day.
Running out of Juice
If the unspeakable happens and you run out of juice before the 99th day, worry not because this does not spell game over. You still have enough time to spend a final day gathering fruits!
If you attempt to end the day without any juice, the following message dialogue will show up on your screen.
In the event of you running out of juice and finding none throughout the day, you will get a game over.
Juice Conservation Tip
If you actually run out of juice, you can prevent getting a game over by selecting to play an earlier day and collect more fruit. Simply go to To Earlier Day
, and choose a day where you have more juice so that you'll have time to build up a buffer.
