How to Get Red Pikmin: Abilities and Where to Find

How to Get More Pikmin

Red Pikmin Abilities

Fire Resistant

Red Pikmin are the only type of Pikmin in Pikmin 3 Deluxe that can survive fire attacks from enemies. Red Pikmin are also the only Pikmin that can survive walking on fiery terrain.

High Attack Power

Red Pikmin have the highest DPS of all Pikmin, making them the units with the highest offensive power in Pikmin 3 Deluxe. This makes them very useful in combat situations with both bosses and regualr enemies.

Their attack power is roughly 1.5x that of blue and yellow pikmin.

Where are the Red Pikmin?

Tropical Wilds

In the Tropical Wilds during Exploration Day 1, Alph will encounter Red Pikmin and their Onion nest. Red Pikmin pellets can be found almost anywhere, even in the Distant Tundra.
