Recommended Armor Skills
Fire Resistance	A lot of Bazelgeuse's damage comes from the explosive scales that he drops. Getting Fire Resistance will mitigate some of that damage.
Health Boost	Bazelgeuse's explosive scales deal a ton of damage that can take out half of your health instantly, or more than half if you don't have a maxed out health pool.
Earplugs	Bazelgeuse has a big roar, so getting your Earplugs skill to Lvl 5 would be useful.

How to Beat Bazelgeuse

Pay Attention to the Scales

Prioritize dodging the explosive scales that Bazelguese drops during the fight since it can deal massive damage if you manage to get hit. These scales have a short delay before its explosion, always check your positioning and try to move away from these as much as possible to avoid taking damage.

Breath Attacks

The breath attack of Bazelguese deals damage on a straight line in front of him. Try to watch out for this attack and move away to avoid taking damage.

Also, during this attack, move away from the scales as much as possible since Bazelguese's breath attacks can trigger these scales to immediately explode on contact.

Chance to Attack

Since Bazelguese has a long charge-up time when he uses his breath attack, you can use this opportunity to attack and deal as much damage as you can for a short period. Always be prepared to attack by checking his movements to immediately engage when there is an opportunity to deal damage.

Glowing Red Scales

Over time, the scales around Bazelguese's body will start to glow bright red. This only means that the scales will immediately explode whenever it drops to the ground. During this state, it is best that you stay defensive and wait for Bazelguese to return to its normal state before playing aggressively.

Removing the Scales

You can remove the scales around Bazelguese's body when he is down. Focus on bringing Bazelguese down from the beginning of the hunt and deal with the scales early on to make the hunt much easier.

Long-Range Weapons

You are more likely to hit the scales if you are using a melee weapon when chasing down Bazelguese. It is highly recommended that you use a long-range weapon to keep your distance while dishing out some damage during the hunt.
