Furthermore, Hiddenblade II is a non elemental weapon which is why an elementless jewel is equipped for more DPS. It also has the staple Great Sword Skills like Focus and Handicraft skills. Guts is there to avoid accidental deaths and can even allow you for some risky plays using tackle moves.

Best Mantles To Use

How to Beat Arch-Tempered Great Jagras

Stay Away from Its Front

The Greatest Jagras will attack relentlessly so if you're in its line of sight, chances are you'll get hit. Make sure to always position yourself near it's hind legs and keep hitting. Thankfully, the Great jagras doesn't have much resistant parts so you're free to hit it anywhere to deal massive damage.

Block If You Lack Options

When caught in a bad spot, make sure to raise your shield. This might chip a massive amount of your HP but it will at least (hopefully) keep you alive. Its attacks hit hard and thus, making the chip damage massive as well.

Arch-Tempered Great Jagras Attack Patterns New Moves

Tremor Attack

The Greatest Jagras can slam the ground, this will cause a tremor and will render hunters unable to move properly for a good amount of time.

Monster Puke

The Greatest Jagras will uh... puke. But don't let this silly attack fool you, this is one of the Greatest Jagras' most lethal attacks and can one-shot unprepared hunters. This is also the mission's main goal, upon checking the areas where the puke lands, you will find Great Jagras materials. But these are not materials but are in fact, decorations!

The Great Jagras will only do this move after eating an Aptonoth so if you wish to farm decorations, make sure to not disturb the all mighty creature until it devours the idling herbivores in the area.
