Rarely Affectionate (Part 2) is Clara's Companion Mission. We continue where we left off from Part 1 of Clara's Companion Mission. This time, we explore how the robot, Pascal, is doing. After you complete all of Clara's Companion Missions, she'll appear on the Astral Express to visit!

Rarely Affectionate (Part 2) can be unlocked once you reach Trailblaze Level 34 or above and have completed Sinners Misled, Credence Falsified mission.

You cannot obtain this quest if you have not finished the Trailblazer Quest Sinners Misled, Credence Falsified.

Additionally, this quest only unlocks once a Daily Reset has occurred post-completion of the aforementioned Trailblazer Quest.

Clara Companion Mission Choices

At the climax of the quest, Svarog and Clara will disagree on whether Pascal should be reformatted and integrated into the base network or not.

Side with Svarog

Svarog thinks that Pascal should be formatted and integrated. This option has a high chance that Pascal's muddled data will be removed and return to normal at the cost of their emotional intelligence.

If you decide to go with this, you and Clara will stay at Pascal's side, holding their hand in their final moments.

Choosing this option will have Svarog reformat Pascal and integrate him into the base network, and you will obtain the quest Wish You Were Here after another Server Reset.

Side with Clara

Clara comes up with a solution to install a lock in Pascal's Core. Clara thinks that installing a new suite of programs and removing the redundant data will fix the error in Pascal.

However, this comes at a high risk as the muddled data will not be removed and Pascal's limited memory will be completely overwritten by it. This will require Clara to keep a close monitor on Pascal to not let them harm other people again.

Choosing this option will have Svarog install the new data on Pascal and you will obtain the quest No One Is Answering after another Server Reset.

Get the Flower Made From Scrap Iron

After clearing either ''No One Is Answering'' or ''Wish You Were Here'', you'll get a message after Server Reset from Clara telling you that the little robots left behind a gift for you in the Tampering Workshop. When you get there and inspect a table at the side, it'll you'll get the Flower Made From Scrap Iron!

Astral Express Visitor Unlock - Clara

Completing the mission, regardless of which one you side with, will allow Clara to become a visitor aboard the Astral Express. Now, whenever you go back to the Astral Express, there will be a chance to run into Clara and interact with her.
