Worst thing about FF is that she ll need e1 badly, e0 she ll need SW in every fight where enemy won't have fire weakness, Boothil is more f2p friendly cuz he e0 will apply weakness with his skill and techniqe.
hmc will get crept, there is no way they won't do a juicy new break effect support that is gacha, I may even go further beyond and say it would be a break effect support with action advance best in slot for boot and firefly.
Atk and BE, you won't need a lot of hp and can probably ignore crit compeletely, you want to have ideally 3400+ atk and 360% BE, 134+ SPD if possible
FF dmg ll scale with atk or hp ?
Anyways is just some madman's theory so don't take it seriously, He just wanted to give Jade an utility since she does seem kind of underwhelming for now
Of course he said this is just a theory and probably not usable practically since you need a perfect calculation of speeds and RM instead of Jade will probably be a much better option, but still it could make sense to get a LOT more turns instead of just harder hits, since she also relies on break so every hit will do the same dmg. If you manage to get like 80% more hits (don't remember the exact number) you get more dmg then using RM + Jade's personal dmg
Anyway there's a TC of our discord server (if you want to join give us your ID, but we're pretty stacked atm so you may need to wait a few days, or just use other TC sites) who said Jade COULD potentially be a good match for FF, here's the thing: team is FF + Bronya (or sparkle) + Jade + HMC, since Jade gives you a shit ton of SPD, if you can survive the few first hits on FF and get her to enhanced state, tune all speed properly, you can get light speed FF, and with Bronya, a TON of turns
Fu Xuan and Robin are both really great characters on their own, but I believe they'll not be good supports for FF in particular. I will probably use a healer with her not to let her die for her -50% hp skill, but you could probably solve that issue using Bronya after FF to get her enhanced state and self heal. That being said, I agree with the people saying her best team will be RM HMC + maybe future sustain, or Aventurine for now since he's so good
I agreee on RM being the most future proof choice, but I personally think HMC will not be powercrept by future characters, I believe his kit and utility will remain as his own speciality and will be the only one to be able to grant super break. As we have already seen, this game's MC is not like Genshin's, the TB is a good unit and the Devs put a lot of effort to make them special, e.g. preservation TB is the only unit with an active taunt. So I think HMC is going to be future proof
I think Ruan Mei is pretty safe from powercreep due to the nature of her kit so she's always a good pull regardless. Harmony TB is 100% getting powercrept by a premium option down the line though.
Probably not, if I had to guess BiS Firefly is RM and Harmony Trailblazer and later they release new powercreep broken Break Effect support for Doghill and Firefly.
Are fu and robin worth pulling for firefly? my only supp is bronya and sustain is aventurine
I said Sam because you don't really play Firefly outside of overworld.
There's always the possibility that Acheron is a special case and is an exception from the rule though.
Jingliu is still very good but she was released around October of last year, while Acheron was on March, she was the best DPS hands down for like 5-6 months, thinking Acheron will be the best DPS till 4.0 or further which is pretty much 2 years is just way too funny to read especially when you see FF kit on beta right now and she's also a 2.0 DPS, 3.0 is going to one up what we already have.
Also, FF's gameplay seems really fun😁, and I already have RM so Robin is probably a skip, and I still need Sparkle😭
I like both😭, I'll probably skip Robin since I do have already a lot of teams available and don't use that much fua, but she's so pretty🥹. I'm going to skip Jade since she doesn't synergyze well with anyone rn and save to get Robin on rerun
You're right, but honestly except FF all other future units don't seem so broken. Jade is ok but nothing special (smash btw), Screwllum doesn't seem to be the op type, Jiaoqiu needs like 50% more dmg taken debuff to be stronger than RM, Robin and such, and Sunday... is still nowhere to be seen. I think most character are good enough for any content, if you want a (even) easier time clearing, pull the new chars, otherwise just a bit of skill and good stats and you're good to go :D
Do you play for meta, or just for your faves? Robin is looking like a Ruan Mei sidegrade so she will still have a lot of value if you care about meta. If you really love Robin, you should pull her though. You should have enough time to save up for Firefly. Since it will be better to pull units you enjoy since that will keep the game from feeling stale and boring in the long run.
Powercreep sure is scary, but honestly it's not a big deal, you can still clear all the hardest content using 4* characters, it's just that the meta shifts too quickly, DoT meta was yesterday, today is FuA and tomorrow it will be break. I agree with you guys tho, that JL is not best dps anymore but still really useful, I still use her and she does an amazing job. If I hadn't her, I probably wouldn't pull her now (except for waifu), but still don't regret pulling her :)
