Ascended Joshua is the First Non-Heroes Ascended Unit!

While it seemed that the trend was all original characters from Heroes would be the ones getting Ascended alts, Joshua broke the streak by getting his own!

He comes with Green Feud 3, a great skill that shuts down all skills from opponents when in combat with a green enemy unit.

Are they meta defining?

Legendary Byleth (F) isn't making a lot of waves in the meta, same as her male counterpart, but she's still a solid offensive unit and her insane mobility will certainly keep players on their toes!

We have one more week of Wind season, so expect to see her in a lot of teams in the Arena!

Arena's pretty loaded due to it being Wind season, so we have our usual suspects and newcomer Legendary Byleth (F)!

How to Counter

Both Micaiah and Byleth have the disadvantage of being very fragile units, so good counters would be physical damage, melee units such as Ninja Shamir and Legendary Sigurd himself.

As for Sigurd, ranged units that can break his damage reduction such as those that use Deadeye are recommended. Amusingly enough, Micaiah and Byleth are both good counters for him!

Aether Raids

The Aether Raids meta has not changed much since our last update.

However, we may need to keep an eye on the new Grand Hero Battle free unit Riev, due to the effects of his weapon.

Argent Aura counters a wide array of units due to its ability to restrict units that can move an extra space to only 1 space!

That shuts down teams with Legendary Sigurd, and also counters units like every flying beast (sorry, poor birds), Fallen Edelgard, Yuri, and Brave Alm.

How to Counter

Fortunately, there is a way to play around that effect and won't leave you helpless. It will require a bit of playing around unit positions.

Argent Aura targets units with the lowest Spd and then their allies within 2 spaces, so putting your lowest Spd units far away from your extra movement units will bypass this condition and allow them to move freely.

Legendary Sigurd, however, does have low Spd, so you may want to place an armored unit in a corner so they'll be targeted instead!
