Might: 12 Range: 2 At start of player phase or enemy phase, grants Atk/Res+6, 【Preempt Pulse】, and "neutralizes foe's bonuses during combat" to unit and allies within 2 spaces of unit for 1 turn. Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit, unit deals +20 damage (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and reduces damage from foe's attacks by 10 during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
|
Cooldown Count = 4 Boosts damage dealt by 80% of unit’s Res. |
|
Enables 【Canto (Rem.; Min 1)】. Deals damage to unit as combat begins = 20% of X (X = unit's max HP before entering battle - 20; "max HP before entering battle" means unit's max HP excluding HP increases from Legendary Effects, Mythic Effects, Bonus Heroes, etc.; activates only when unit can attack in combat; effects that reduce damage "during combat" do not apply; will not reduce unit's HP below 1). Inflicts Atk/Res-4 on foe, unit deals damage = unit's HP at start of combat - current HP, × 2 (max 12, min 6; excluding area-of-effect Specials) and reduces the percentage of foe's non-Special "reduce damage by X%" skills by percentage = unit's HP at start of combat - current HP, × 10 during combat (max 60%, min 30%; excluding area-of-effect Specials). |
|
If unit's HP ≥ 25%, when Canto triggers, enables unit to use 【Reposition】 on ally (this effect is not treated as an Assist skill; if similar effects are active, this effect does not trigger). |

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Spring Dorothea are +Res and -Def. Due to her lack of an exclusive weapon Spring Dorothea relies on inheritance to bring her up to par against modern metagame foes. Her best role is fitting her with Res-based support skills to improve her ability to soak magic damage and apply debuffs to her foes.
Def is Spring Dorothea's least important stat and can be safely taken as a bane. No amount of investment will protect her from strong physical attackers.

Spring Dorothea can be built on a budget by using Divine Codes to obtain key skills like Crystalline Water. She will function well as a decent unit, but requires premium investment to become competitive against metagame foes.

Spring Dorothea is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

|---|
Spring Dorothea suffers from not having any unique skills to call her own, making her unable to stand out amongst other units.
Flying Tome units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Spring Dorothea replaceable by better units.
As a flying unit, Spring Dorothea takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
| Should You Unlock Potential for this Hero? |
|
