The best IVs for Spring Bernadetta are +Spd and -Def. Her Spd is the highest in the game as of the time of her release at base 47, boosted to 51 with a superboon. Spd is her best stat and is very useful for creating follow-up attacks through a Spd check.

Her Def is lackluster and can safely be taken as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 merge

How to Use, Explanation

Spring Bernadetta's base kit is already good enough to use, except we suggest replacing her Special with either Ruptured Sky or Glimmer if you don't have the former. A 2-cooldown Special is ideal with her weapon's Slaying and Tempo effects.

Spring Bernadetta is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Bow of Repose enables life-based strategies and has good combat effects

Spring Bernadetta's Bow of Repose has unique effects that make it stand out among other weapons.

Like Winter Bernadetta's Hrist, Bow of Repose deals 1 damage to Bernie and her nearby allies at the start of turn if her HP is full. This allows players to manipulate HP values using skills like Ardent Sacrifice and Reciprocal Aid to bring other heroes into HP threshold ranges for skills like Vantage or Wings of Mercy.

In combat, as long as Spring Bernadetta's HP isn't full, Bow of Repose grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to Bernie and inflicts a Spd/Def penalty onto her foe based on the initiator's distance travelled.

Bow of Repose can also grant 30% damage reduction on the foe's first attack if the initiator moved at least 1 space, and also neutralizes effects that prevent Bernie's follow-ups and effects that slow down her Special charges if the initiator moved at least 2 spaces.

Bow of Repose enables unique strategies and is also useful in combat, making Spring Bernadetta a very useful hero to field.
