When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
Neutral IVs by default!
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Wallace will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
+Def / -Spd or -Res
The best IVs for Wallace are +Def and -Spd. Due to his lack of exclusive skills, Wallace will need to lean on his base stats to be relevant in combat against the top metagame heroes. Wallace's main strengths are with his high HP and Def stats, and focusing on a physical tank build will be his best overall role.
Wallace's Spd is below average and can be safely taken as a bane. It should still be high enough to outspeed the slowest metagame threats with base 20 Spd or lower.
However, if using a build with Patience, ensure Wallace's Spd does not fall below 30! The bane to take in this case would be -Res instead of -Spd.

Wallace is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Forged Lance+ grants stat bonuses to Wallace and nearby allies and also grants the usual in-combat effects of modern weapons - bonus stats, true damage, and true damage reduction.
While the effects are underwhelming compared to exclusive weapons, Forged Lance+ can still be used on a budget against enemies in non-competitive game modes.

Lack of Unique Skills
Wallace suffers from not having any unique skills to call his own, making him unable to stand out amongst other units.
Lance Armored units are quite abundant in the game, and lacking an exclusive weapon makes Wallace replaceable by better units.
Weak to Armor Effective Weapons
Wallace takes 1.5x damage from armor-effective weapons like Randgríðr, and one blow from this type of weapon will deal significant damage. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Obtain through a Grand Hero Battle
Wallace is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.

He's still listed as green axe at the very top & where it compares other heroes. I'm wondering if Raphael would be a better investment since i have a ton of blue units for arena already. I guess other new armors for free players with a prf weapon will be a long way off.
