When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk/-HP

The best IVs for Florina are +Atk and -HP. Her weapon is effective against armored units so having a +Atk IV maximizes the potential of that 1.5x damage multiplier. With said +IV, she can take out a wide variety of armored units in one hit especially if she is well-invested on. Her HP is of less importance so it is safe to take it as a bane.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Florina to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. If you plan to use the Res Tank Florina build, you should go for a +Res IV instead.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a tanky build using Florina's refined weapon. Since she's an enemy phase tank, double Stances on her A and Sacred Seal slots are a must, though you can swap out Bracing Stance 3 for any Stance skill you think will suit her role in your team. Quick Riposte 3 ensures her a follow-up attack and Joint Drive Def boosts her defenses even further, though you can also opt for something like Atk Smoke 3 or Pulse Smoke 3.

Florina's Lance grants amazing enemy phase ability to Florina. Since she has decent defensive stats to begin with, we recommend inheriting Quick Riposte 3 and getting a Close Def 3 Sacred Seal to turn her into a powerful counterattacker. The stat bonuses from Florina's Lance and Close Def 3 grant her the durability required to consistently dish-out Quick Riposte follow-up attacks despite her mediocre Spd stat.

Florina is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Florina Strengths

Access to a special effect refine that turns her into a reliable defensive unit

Florina's Lance has access to a special refinement effect. The effect grants Florina +4 to all stats when attacked by any melee unit. This allows Florina to bait attacks from powerful red armored units like Idunn or Spring Idunn and possibly take them out. This upgrade is discussed with more detail in the weapon refine section.

Darting Blow Buffs Spd

Darting Blow 3 grants Florina +6 Spd whenever she initiates attacks. This supplements her low Spd in the player phase. She might not be able to score follow-up attacks with her Spd, but the increase can protect her from getting outsped by counterattacking enemies!

Her base kit includes 2 heal skills

Florina's native assist skill is Ardent Sacrifice. When used, she loses 10 HP and heals the targeted ally by the same amount. Additionally, her C skill, Breath of Life, heals adjacent allies by 7 HP whenever Florina attacks.

If you plan to use Florina with only her base kit, she works well as an combat-healer hybrid.

Florina Weaknesses

Low Spd

Florina has very low Spd. This makes her susceptible to follow-up attacks. As discussed in the weapon refine section, we suggest inheriting Quick Riposte 3 to allow her to score follow-up attacks in the enemy phase. Check out our recommended builds for Florina!

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Florina takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.
