What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Weapon can boost an ally's stats ・Has the useful skill Draw Back ・Can reduced the foe's Atk |
Might: 16 Range: 1 At start of turn, if an ally is within 2 spaces of unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. |
Range: 1 Unit moves 1 space away from target ally, who moves to unit’s former position. |
At the start of every second turn, restores 10 HP. |
At start of turn, inflicts Atk-5 on foes within 2 spaces through their next actions. |
Resplendent Attire has been released for Fae. With their Resplendent Attire equipped, they will have a different appearance, have new voice clips, and additionally, gain +2 to all stats. If you really like Fae or you want to make them stronger, you may want to buy a FEH pass and get the Resplendent Attire.
Stat | Superboon/Superbane | IV Recommendation |
---|---|---|
HP (16) | ★★☆☆☆ | |
Atk (18) | ★★★★☆ | |
Spd (4) | ★★★☆☆ | |
Def (6) | ★★★★★ | |
Res (8) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Fae are +Def and -HP. This IV balances her defenses which makes her more survivable. Additionally, it is a superboon so you should take advantage of it as much as possible. Her HP is of less importance and it can be made up for through weapon upgrades so it is safe to take as a bane.
We recommend a +Def IV when merging Fae to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. If you prefer Fae to specialize against magic attacks, you can also shoot for a +Res IV.

Sol
:

|
:
-
|
This is a tanky build for Fae. Steady Breath and Distant Def 3 will boost her Def and Res, while Sol gives her sustain. Quick Riposte gives her a guaranteed follow-up attack, while Infantry Pulse 3 is a support skill that will help in triggering her infantry allies' Specials.
:
Iceberg
:
-
|
:
Fury 3
:
-
|
This is a budget build for Fae with minimal Skill Inheritance. Fury 3 will boost her stats, while Atk Smoke 3 will debuff enemy units after combat. Close Def further enhances her Def and Res when she's attacked.

This build makes Fae a team support by utilizing the +Eff refine for her weapon and building the rest of her kit to both debuff the enemy team and buff her own.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: +3 At start of turn, if an ally is within 2 spaces of unit, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and allies within 2 spaces for 1 turn. If foe's Range = 2, calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res. If【Bonus】is active on unit, inflicts Atk/Res-4 on foe and grants Special cooldown charge +1 per foe's attacking during combat. (Only highest value applied. Does not stack. Special cooldown charge granted even if foe's attack deals 0 damage.) :500 :200 |
|
This special effect refine is a must get for Fae. For starters, it improves the primary effect of the weapon. This applies to all upgrades, not just the special effect one.
More importantly, it inflicts penalties on the opponent that allow her to take less damage and deal more damage. It also speeds up her special cooldown allowing her to further deal more damage through it. If her special is Aether, the faster special activation provides her with more sustain too! All of these lead to increased viability and increased effectiveness on both offensive and defensive aspects.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Fae is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Fae boasts a very high HP and Res stats. This allows her to tank most magic users in the game. Her high HP allows her to run builds that utilize skills like Earth Boost 3 and Panic Ploy 3.
Her Def and Spd are not too bad too! With some investment or buffs from allies, Fae can easily turn into an omni-tank of some sort.
An omni-tank is a unit that can wall a wide range of units and survive many case scenarios.
Eternal Breath has access to a special effect refine that provides her with a greater primary effect, but it also allows Fae to inflict debuffs and speed-up her special activation! Read more about it in the weapon refine section.
Fae has access to the versatile assist skill Draw Back by default, which is helpful for repositoning Fae and allies out of the danger zone. It can also be used to move Fae and her allies closer to the line of battle when needed.
Fae's B Skill Renewal 3 will will let her recover 10 HP at the start of every second turn. Since she can regain lost HP even without a healer on the team, taking a little damage does not stop her completely.
Fae's C skill, Threaten Atk 3, inflicts -5 Atk to foes within 2 spaces. This reduces the damage the enemy team will deal to Fae's team so make sure Fae is always in the frontline to utilize this skill. Her bulk will make sure she will survive in time for her allies to finish the enemies off.
Fae's Def only sits at 25 at Lv.40. Be mindful of Fae's positioning in relation to physical units that can easily take her out. Her Def stat is not that bad, but if you consider that her Spd is not the best too at 28, she can be easily taken out by a follow-up attack from a sword unit—the most common unit in the game.
Fae takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Falchion or Naga, and one blow from these types of weapons is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
