Witch Breath is a powerful dragonstone, assuming Halloween Rhea meets the conditions to activate it in combat.

It grants Atk+3 no matter what and has multiple other effects that work together to ensure Halloween Rhea is victorious in combat.

Below is a summary of its effects:

Witch Breath is reliant on both Halloween Rhea and her foe having at least 50% HP. Ensure that the conditions are met to maximize the weapon's strengths!

Neutralizes Debuffs to Atk/Res and Grants Buffs to Them

If Halloween Rhea is within 2 spaces of an ally, Atk/Res Unity grants her +5 Atk/Res and converts penalties on Atk/Res and turns them into bonuses. It is a pretty simple trigger condition and it is almost impossible to have trouble keeping it online.

This makes Halloween Rhea an effective unit in Aether Raids because debuffs are very common in that game mode. You can easily have her soak the debuffs from Light and Dark Shrine, Panic Manor, and Infantry School to rack up passive bonuses to Atk and Res!

Dragon Wall Applies Damage Reduction

The difference between the battle preview values and the battle outcome can be seen in this Lucina versus Rhea matchup.

Halloween Rhea's Dragon Wall 3 takes advantage of the bonuses to Res from her Atk/Res Unity to maximize the amount of damage reduced.

This greatly improves her overall bulk and survivability, especially against physical attacks which would normally punch through her unbuffed Def!

High Bulk

Halloween Rhea's Def and Res stats are very high compared to other units in the game. Her Res is the highest among all characters (as of October 2021) as well!

Because of this, it will take significant effort to bring her down.

Halloween Rhea Weaknesses

Weak to Dragon Effective Weapons

Halloween Rhea also takes 1.5x damage from dragon-effective weapons like Falchion or Naga, and one blow from these types of weapons is sure to take him/her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!

Very Low Spd

Halloween Rhea's Spd stat suffers the most from the rest of her stats all being high. Her Spd sits at base 18 which leaves her prone to getting attacked twice by her foes assuming they can punch through her Witch Breath's follow-up negation.

Ensure that Halloween Rhea doesn't take too many hits. Even with her high overall bulk, multiple engagements may damage her enough to the point where her Witch Breath will no longer be active!
