Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 was released on June 18, 2024 (UTC-5). The patch features the release of Firefly and Jade, A new Penacony map, and two new end-game mode, Apocalyptic Shadow and Divergent Universe.

Phase 1 of Version 2.3 featured Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest in Brilliant Fixation and Past Self in Mirror for Bygone Reminiscence. Both Phase 1 banners were available from June 18, 2024 until July 10, 2024.
In Phase 2 of Version 2.3, Yet Hope Is Priceless and the new 4-Star Light Cone, After the Charmony Fall, were available in the Brilliant Fixation. An Instant Before A Gaze was also available via the Bygone Reminiscence. Both banners were available from July 10, 2024 until July 30, 2024.

Whereabouts Should Dreams Rest, Yet Hope is Priceless, and After the Charmony Fall were the newest Light Cones available in the Brilliant Fixation Gacha Banner as announced in the Version 2.3 Livestream.
Another new Light Cone, Eternal Calculus, has also been added to Herta's Store for the Simulated Universe in Version 2.3.

Farewell, Penacony is the new Trailblaze Mission added in Version 2.3, which concludes Penacony's story! This mission mainly involves Firefly, Jade, and Sparkle!

Trace Materials for Jade!
Rough Sketch, Dynamic Outlining, and Exquisite Colored Draft are the new Trace Materials in Version 2.3. These materials are used to level up the Traces for Jade!
2.3 New Game Modes
Divergent Universe: The Human Comedy
Divergent Universe: The Human Comedy is a new permanent Game Mode for Version 2.3 of Honkai: Star Rail.
This new Simulated Universe created by Screwllum will allow players to obtain Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves and Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern!
Apocalyptic Shadow End-Game Game Mode
A new permanent end-game content called the Apocalyptic Shadow was released in the Version 2.3 update! In this game mode, Trailblazers can challenge Boss Enemies, read their traits, and choose buff effects for every boss.
Clearing the Apocalyptic Shadow's Difficulty 2, you will be able to obtain the character Xueyi, 300 Stellar Jades, and a Self-Modeling Resin as a reward!
2.3 New Cavern Relics and Planar Ornaments
2.3 New Planar Ornaments
Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves, and Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern are the latest Planar Ornmanets added in Version 2.3! Both Ornaments are available from the Divergent Universe - Eternal Comedy.
2.3 New Cavern Relics
Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge and The Wind-Soaring Valorous are two new Cavern Relics for Version 2.3. Both Relics can be obtained through clearing the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Cavalier.

Treasure Lightward Rewards Increased!
The Stellar Jade reward for Forgotten Hall, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow was increased from 720 to 800 for Version 2.3 of Honkai: Star Rail.
New Preset Lineup Function
Trailblazers are able to set up their teams by using the Preset Lineup function for Forgotten Hall, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow game modes.
Interastral Peace Guide Update
An exclusive tab that shows data for Simulated Universe and Divergent Universe: The Human Comedy has been added, as well as for the Treasure Lightward: Apocalyptic Shadow.
Trailblazer Profile Display Function Update
Trailblazer Profile Display have been adjusted to show your friend's showcased character by tapping on them. Records for Divergent Universe and Apocalyptic Shadow have also been added and Trailblazers can make this information private.
Prerequisite Mission Skip
Contents like Divergent Universe and Apocalyptic Shadow in Version 2.3 can now be unlocked without doing the prerequisite missions as long as they fulfill certain requirements.
