Jing Yuan's rerun has been released in the first phase of Version 2.7. Jing Yuan is a 5-star Erudition unit who can deal a lot of AoE DMG with his Lightning-Lord summon.

The Herta was announced as an upcoming playable character on the official social media of Honkai: Star Rail. The Herta is a 5-star character that follows the Path of Erudition and uses the Ice element.

Since she was the first character announced in the drip marketing for Version 3.0, The Herta will likely release in Phase 1 of Version 3.0 of Honkai Star Rail, which is expected to drop on January 14, 2025 (UTC-5).

Amphoreus Characters

The 2.7 Livestream revealed the names the new characters in the world of Amphoreus, a new world that will be released in Version 3.0.

So far, only Aglaea has been announced as an Amphoreus playable character. The rest of the characters may eventually follow suit.
