Use Ice and Fire Characters
Enemies in the First Half are mostly weak to Ice and Fire damage.
We recommend using characters that can provide shields since you will be up against the Malefic Ape.
Use Imaginary and Physical Characters
Enemies in the Second Half are all weak to Imaginary and Physical types.
How to Beat Stage 3 - Syntax Rule
Stage 3 - First Half
Be Careful of the Malefic Ape
The Malefic Ape can mark one of your characters with Monitor. When the Malefic Ape gains it's turn again, it will lunge at the marked ally and deal a significant amount of damage.
The mark can be moved between your teammates when they use their skill, which will transfer the mark to them instead. To play around this mark, we suggest leaving the Mark on your character with the highest HP.
Stage 3 - Second Half
Defeat the Everwinter Shadewalker First
The Everwinter Shadewalkers reduce the SPD of any unit it attacks. You will want to avoid this since Pure Fiction being a time sensitive game mode. Focus on defeating these enemies first or have them within the AoE of your attacks.
