Exorcismal Chronicles is a combat mode that's part of the A Foxian Tale of the Haunted event. The Verdant Terrace is the final Suppression Tower of the game mode and Cirruss is the boss for all of its levels.

You can unlock Verdant Terrace levels by completing the Foxian Dream Mission and by clearing all levels in each of the previous Exorcismal Chronicle towers!

How to Beat Cirrus

Cirrus Cannot Be Damaged Directly

Unlike any enemies so far in the game, Cirrus cannot be attacked directly. The only way to reduce its HP is to defeat the enemies on the field until they run out!

Cast Ultimates to Snatch Fiendfire

Fiendfire is a mechanic that will appear in the Action Order depicted by a green or red flame. If the green flame reaches the top, it will provide energy for the Exorcismic ability. If the red flame is on top, enemies will be enhanced, increasing their damage.

You can bump up all Fiendfires on the Action Order by using Ultimates. If the second to the top enemy has a Fiendfire, using Ultimates allows you to snatch it from them and stop the enemy from getting enhanced!

When fighting Cirrus, the best time to use Ultimates is after they use Rapid Gambit and the topmost enemy has Fiendfire. This way, you can claim the Fiendfire and will be able to cast the Exorcismic ability if it has enough energy!

Use Exorcismic Ability

Honkai Star Rail - Use Exorcismics

Similar to the Cloudhymn Roar during the boss fight against Phantylia the Undying, an extra ability called Exorcismic can be used when battling Cirrus. This ability gets charged whenever the green Fiendfire reaches the top of the Action Order.

In the Foxian Dream, the Exorcismic's effect is Suppression: Demon Shackle. We recommend using it right after Cirrus uses Rapid Gambit so that all the enemies on the battlefield will be Imprisoned.

When fighting Cirus in the Verdant Terrace, you can choose which effect the Exorcismic will have. With this, check out the enemies first before selecting the appropriate Exorcismic against them!
