Explanation

I Shall Be My Own Sword is Jingliu's best in slot because she is the only character who can fully utilize the Light Cone's ability. I Shall Be My Own Sword's ability allows Jingliu to increase her ATK and ignore DEF% whenever an ally gets damaged. This ability works perfectly for Jingliu due to the mechanic of her Enhanced Skill.

I Shall Be My Own Sword also provides some CRIT DMG for Jingliu, allowing her to deal more damage when triggering a CRIT attack!

Is I Shall Be My Own Sword Worth It?

Great For Jingliu

Since it is Jingliu's signature Light Cone, there is no doubt that it would be a great choice for her. Aside from increasing CRIT DMG, it also provides Eclipse which is a DMG buff each time an ally gets attacked or loses HP.

Jingliu takes HP from her allies to increase her ATK, so this damage buff would always be on and can possibly be maxed out every time. The additional attack that ignores DEF% is also a nice bonus since it's just more damage on top of Jingliu's already potent damage.

Should You Pull?

I Shall Be My Own Sword is a good choice for a Destruction Light Cone because of the CRIT DMG stat and the Eclipse DMG buff. However, to activate Eclipse, allies need to get attacked or lose HP instead of the wearer.

Destruction characters like Blade or Clara usually want to get attacked or lose their own HP, so they can't take full advantage of this Light Cone. Currently, this Light Cone is only best for Jingliu and even then she can still use other Light Cones like On the Fall of an Aeon.

After seeing castorice's gameplay i actuallly think this LC may end up being a good alt for her signature since she also drains ally's hp with her Dragons attack.
