Boss Tips for Trial of the Equibrium: Part One |

Enemies | Weaknesses |

In order to break the Toughness meter of both bosses, the best characters for the trial will be a team comprised of a combination of the above elements. Since you will not be able to change your team once inside, it is important to have a team that can work for both bosses before going in.
Enemies | Weaknesses |
---|---|
The Ice Out of Space will start the battle with 2 Everwinter Shadewalkers supporting it. The Searing Prowler, on the other hand, will have 2 Incinerator Shadewalkers flanking it.
Make sure to clear both support mobs before you progress further into the fight since they can overwhelm your team's shields and heals if you are not careful. The bosses will not re-summon minions, so taking them out early will do wonders for your team's survivability.
Techniques are essential to give you an advantage before the fight even begins. Make sure to buff or use offensive Techniques to open up both boss fights in your favor.
If you have a Phys. DPS, begin the Ice Out of Space fight with an attack or offensive Phys. technique to get the most mileage out of the Toughness breaks. For the Searing Prowler, lead with an Ice attack or offensive technique for both the Toughness break and the Freeze effect.
Unless you have a truly powerful DPS that can make short work of the bosses, remember that it will always be better to play around your heals and shields. Make full use of the no-turn limit of the challenge and weather the AoE and DoT damage of these bosses by slowly shielding and healing instead of always pressing the attack.
Note: At this point in the main story, F2P players should already have both March 7th and Natasha unlocked for their accounts. Consider leveling them up and adding them to your party if you're having trouble with this particular challenge.
If you're attempting the challenge without a Healer, it is recommended that you bring HP-restoring consumables that you can use to heal in-between fights. Without these, you will be fighting the second boss with a preventable handicap.
