Speak to the Mysterious Girl in Backwater Pass

Map	Starting Point

The Mysterious Girl named Cyrille will be found in the middle section of Backwater Pass. Use the Leisure Plaza space anchor to reach the mission area quickly and follow the navigation marker on your map to find the Mysterious Girl.

Reach Trailblaze Level 18 and Complete Lying in Rust

If you can't find the Mysterious Girl on your map, you will need to check your main story progress. Vessel of Mediocrity Part 1 should become available once you have reached at least Trailblaze Level 18 and have completed the 11th Jarilo-VI main story mission, Lying in Rust.

How to Help the Mysterious Girl

	Quest Walkthrough
1	Find the Mysterious Girl in the Backwater Pass. She can be found near the Leisure Plaza space anchor.
2	Once you interact with the Mysterious Girl, she will then reveal that her name is Cyrille. She will ask for your help to solve a puzzle called The Fool's Box.
3	Solve the first Fool's Box puzzle by pushing the box on the right upwards and rescuing the girl inside.
4	After rescuing the trapped girl, talk to Cyrille. A short cutscene will then play before the second Fool's Box puzzle appears.
5	Solve the second Fool's Box puzzle. Push the boxes as shown above to rescue the trapped children.
6	A cutscene will play after solving the puzzle. Once it ends, search for Sampo and ask for his help to rescue Cyrille. He can be found in Boulder Town, near the Fight Club.
7	Interact with Sampo then return to Backwater Pass where Cyrille is located.
8	Finish the conversation with Sampo to complete the mission!

All Choices and Results

No Way to Save Cyrille During Part 1

Unfortunately, there is no way of saving Cyrille during Part 1 of the Vessel of Mediocrity questline. Players will need to progress the main story and unlock the Silvermane Guard Restricted Zone area to get Part 2 of the questline.

Cyrille's Old Diary Readable Item Reward

Cyrille: An Old Diary is also part of the rewards for the quest. This is the first part in the 3-Part Cyrille readable item that you can collect by completing parts 2 and 3 of this quest chain.

Cyrille's first diary entry will recount how she met the mysterious Mr. Stefan. The entry details their relationship, touching up on who Mr. Stefan was and how he is related to the departure of Cyrille's sister.
