it can work if you have good speed stats, you just gotta make sure your Dan heng is very slow so running atk boots and prioritizing atk and crit substats over speed. And just make sure to set your yukong to go after Hanabi/Sparkle. As for Mei + Hanabi I do think that’ll work but I’m not sure if she’ll be better than a e6 yukong. Hanabi kit might change though so I would wait a bit longer before seeing what teams and units she’ll work with.

then wouldn’t speed tuning with yukong be almost impossible? A team with Hanabi + Ruan mei might be better than yukong + Hanabi for his teams
I think your just looking for excuses to say hanabi and Dan heng - imbibtor Lunae are a wasted pair at this point. Yes there will eventually be a 5 star imaginary harmony but how to do you know for sure if that’s coming so soon? How do you know for sure that it will focus on imaginary dps? Are you seriously telling people to wait until this non leaked character comes instead of upgrading Dan heng - imbibtor Lunae with Hanabi?

Also remember that trace with Huo Huo that only worked on erudition and was later changed? Yeah theres a chance that might happen with Hanabi. Plus now that you don’t have constantly play sp+ supports you can run Huo Huo comfortably for more buffs or the leaked Aventruine for more dmg. Playing yukong with planetary light cone and loucha + penacony will make up for the Quantum bonus if you’d like even though Dane heng - imbibtor Lunae is currently best dps without it.
seriously? You look at the only trace effect Dan heng - Imbibtor Lunae can’t benefit from and then suddenly decide the two are unusable. Here’s a refresher on what she’ll be providing in his teams. -endless sp ( now you can use any support or sustain you’d like as he won’t he needing any sp+ units when paired with her!!) -provides him with better crit dmg than bronya gives -50% action forward is still insane and good + more sp sine he’s slow -48% dmg bonus is extremely good.

uh okay? Don’t get how this proves your point that hanabi is waste for DHIL and that we’re getting an img buffer even though we already have one and the list of 5 stars to release don’t show it
the fact planetary lc exists already tells you this game creates a buffer that synergizes perfectly with the dps with the same element as them for extra dmg.
the only buffers of the same element currently are asta and yukong and the Hanabi kit subject to change. Don’t get your hopes up especially since yukong already does that.
lets see if hoyo dares to screw up a 5* buffer from buffing the dps of the same element.
You know that “5 star img buffer” your speculating about might be sp hungry like yukong which would make playing DHIL harder or they might not be focused on img dps only. If they are a better yukong than that “img 5 star buffer” would work with hanabi even better for DHIL teams.
no she doesn’t lol, I seriously don’t get your point, are you saying that we shouldn’t go for hanabi for DHIL because a 5 star img harmony to buff img dps is better? Like dude listen to yourself, no matter what hanabi for DHIL will never be a waste because 1, she gives him everything he needs and 2, your 5 star img buffer is literally just speculation.
