why? I mean sure I too don’t think he’ll be harmony but being the same element doesn’t necessarily mean anything. He could have his own gimmick and buff different things/ work for other dps not the ones ruan mei is BiS for. I personally think he’ll be nihility or erudition but harmony isn’t impossible.

Sunday is ice? Do we know his path then? Cause I was kinda hoping he could be harmony but since we have rm that may no longer be possible.
okay yeah is it’s in 2.3 then I think it’s Sunday, I thought it lasted till 2.4 so it wouldn’t make sense if they released last two pencony characters and then two randoms at the end of the story and Sunday seems more likely to be delayed than boothill because of his major role.
stephen is already in data. hes using pela and misha as placeholders.
isnt penacony epilogue in 2.3? even if sunday is really the last one to be released, the last patch is 2.3. 2.4 should be when we go back to herta space station. after that we are going to xianzhou yaoqing so until when they are going to delay him? it doesnt make sense...
Two genius society members releasing in the final arc of pencony wouldn’t make much sense as opposed to only one releasing. Also do we know for sure if Stephen is in 2.x patch? I know he’s confirmed to be playable but I’m not sure if he’s already in 2.x data or if they’ll keep him for 3.x to release a different member each version.
I know that was just a point out and it makes sense for Sunday to be released last considering his role in the story, that and again he still has no kit while boothill already does and will most likely show up in 2.3. If the story continues on to 2.4 then who else could be released? Like I said we’ll have to wait and see but I still highly doubt Sunday will be in 2.3.

the screwllum leaks arent from beta but from insider. thats why we are seeing his animations even before aventurine or acheron who are releasing next patch.

Just saying that Screwllum has been getting a lot of leaks already and it’s not like they haven’t released characters with no relevance to what’s going on in the main story before.
we’ll just have to wait and see I guess cause I still think Screwllum will be in 2.3. They don’t have to go back forth, 2.3 is the last of the pencony story for the time being so it’s possible.
i still think sunday and boothill being in 2.3 makes more sense instead of going back and forth between penacony and herta space station. plus screwllum is 'rumored' to get his story quest in 2.4 it would make more sense if his banner is in 2.4 too.
no but they really couldnt release baizhu that early. sumeru was supposed to introduce all the new dendro reactions so they delayed him until sumeru.
You might be right but right now I think Screwllum will be coming in 2.3 along with boothill. Sure Screwllum isn’t involved in the main story but it could be like Argenti and huo huo with the latter having a main story and the former a companion mission.
I don’t think they couldn’t introduce a dendro unit, they just didn’t want to and kept him for 3 years. Chiori is getting released before clorinde and arleccino who were much more involved in the story which again shows that doesn’t matter how involved a character is if hoyo wants them to wait they’ll wait. And so far it looks like Sunday is going to have to wait. No kit leak while the rest already have leaked light cones and Screwllum has slash concept art and animations.
but baizhu was delayed to sumeru patch because they couldnt introduce a dendro unit in 1.x no? we at least know sunday boss deals ice dmg and there is no reason to delay an ice unit which is why i think he will be in 2.3 🤔
Baizhu wasn’t released till 3.x patch and he was a member of the liyue patch since it released. We also know nothing of sundays kit or of his confirmed element which leads me to think Boothill and Screwllum will be in 2.3 instead.
I guess but didn’t they release silver wolf in 1.2 and huo huo in 1.5? Maybe it won’t be the same since huo huo came with an expansion story but still, anything can happen. I have a feeling they’ll release Sunday much later than now and there is a chance stepthen might be a 4 star since most of the unreleased characters are all 5 stars and we know nothing of upcoming 4 stars.
