Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX Switch Walkthrough Comments
i found an oddly efficient way to find the stairs... get 3 warp bands, and equip them to ur party. when u want to stay in place, take off the bands. and just to be safe, when ur in a kekleon shop, TAKE. THE. BANDS. OFF. i haven't tested if other party members teleporting when u have shop items that u haven't paid for yet enrages kekleon, and honestly... i don't want to. you can find the stairs pretty fast w/ this strat.
Yo, Goggle Specs description is wrong in the recommended equipment section. "This equipment makes you hidden and invisible. There is a similar equipment called Trap Scarf." Should be " When this item is equipped, traps that have been set on the floor become visible."
Efficient Bandanna, Squeeze Out, PP Pouch + PP Up items and not having linked moves will eliminate the need for elixirs or ethers. Plus I assume you guys carry around Reviver Seeds that restore PP so you wont really need them( ethers)
Not true. You still need that for the 99F/60F dungeons bring elixirs instead to save space. doesnt hurt to bring plus they're common
If you carry 3 Efficient Bandannas, Squeeze Out and PP Pouch, you can afford not bringing Elixirs and Ethers.
I always carry 3 efficient bandannas. really useful with Squeeze Out. I only bring a couple of ethers (not elixirs) because of this
x-ray specs can also detect monster houses (because of the scattered items) and kecleon shops. and if you want combat, you an always switch to the combat held item before running into the boss.
X-Ray Specs + Go Other Way = most efficient way of rushing though the floors. you go to the spots where there are items to see if thats where the floor is (if there is an item, its a room) and if the stairs arent there, ur teammates probably found it etc.
you can avoid enemies as well if you don't want to battle them. really useful if you're not trying to recruit in that specific dungeon and just want to battle the boss or do some rescues.
I agree that X-Ray Specs are vital. They are a bit rare but you can quickly deduce where rooms are, avoid long-ass useless corridors
