+Def/-HP

The best IVs for Eyvel are +Def and -HP. Def is very important for Eyvel and as it is a superboon, you should take advantage of it as much as possible. HP is of less importance for her, therefore it is safe to take as a bane.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Eyvel to 10. At 10 merges, Eyvel's Def will be very high and it would be pointless to increase her Def even further. It is better to opt for a +Spd IV instead as it will allow her to execute more follow-up attacks. With +10 merges, Eyvel's Spd stat will reach 42 enabling her to avoid receiving follow-up attacks from the faster metagame units.

Eyvel is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Eyvel Strengths

Slows Enemy Specials

Guard Sword+ inflicts special cooldown charge -1 per attack. It lacks the trigger conditions Guard 3 has making it more convenient to delay enemy specials. This allows Eyvel and her allies to take less damage from enemies. This skill is also very helpful in Grand Hero Battles where delaying enemy specials is very important as enemy specials in those maps are very powerful.

Stronger with Allies Around

Atk/Def Form 3 increases Eyvel's Atk/Def by the number of allies within 2 spaces of Eyvel. Although the max value of the buff is only +7 Atk/Def, it is still a powerful and convenient buff that is easily triggered.

Low Res

Eyvel's Res only sits at 25 at Lv.40. This makes it easy for magic users to take her out. Be mindful of Eyvel's positioning in relation to magical units that can easily take her out.
