When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk/-HP

The best IVs for Bridal Oboro are +Atk and -HP. A +Atk IV will add +4 to Oboro's Atk, as it is a superboon. This increases the damage she can deal per attack. HP is much lower priority, so it is the ideal bane.

You can also go for a +Spd or a +Def IV. The former will make you less susceptible to follow-up attacks, and the latter is also a superboon that will add +4 to her already high Def stat. If you are taking these boons, you can take -Res. Be warned that her Res is a superbane, which means it subtracts -4 from the stat.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Bridal Oboro to +10. With a +Spd IV, Oboro's Spd stat will reach 42 at 10 merges, which makes it easier to prevent follow-up attacks from enemies and allows her to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her own.

Bridal Oboro is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Bridal Oboro Strengths

Powerful Weapon that Speeds Up Special Trigger

Pledged Blade+ grants +4 Atk/Def. It also grants special cooldown charge +1 per foe's attack during combat. The only trigger conditions for these is that a bonus should be applied to Bridal Oboro. Pledged Blade+ is a powerful and straightforward weapon, since Atk/Def Form 3 is very easy to trigger and it counts as a bonus.

Stronger with Allies Around

Atk/Def Form 3 increases Bridal Oboro's Atk/Def by the number of allies within 2 spaces of Bridal Oboro. Although the max value of the buffs is only +7 Atk/Def, it is still a powerful and convenient buff that is easily triggered. Additionally, it stacks with and triggers the effects of Pledged Guardian+, making Bridal Oboro's kit very straightforward and easy to use.

Cancel Foe's Specials Regardless of Oboro's Position

Odd Pulse Tie 3 inflicts special cooldown count +2 to foe's specials that are ready to trigger, provided that it is an odd-numbered turn and the enemy unit's HP +1 ≤ Bridal Oboro's HP.

Although it is only applied to one foe with the lowest HP, it is still strong as you can effectively cancel a unit's special regardless of Bridal Oboro's position in relation to the said unit. This makes Bridal Oboro a good counter to enemies that heavily rely on their specials to deal damage, such as Ophelia
