After the events of Chapter 13: Mechonis Field, this area becomes inaccessible, and all collectopaedia and quest-related requirements in this area can no longer be completed.

There are huge mechons in this area and their size isn't the only thing that's scary about them. If you're not grinding like mad, then there's a good chance that these mechons are way higher in level than you. Avoid them at all cost!
