This is a guide to obtaining Sturdy Armor, a collectible in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (XC1). Read on to know how to get Sturdy Armor and its uses.
Sturdy Armor is a tradable item from NPCs in Alcamoth (Unavailable after the events in Chapter 17). Jer' Ell, Galdo, and Cian in particular, has the item. It can also be obtained by overtrading with Arielle.
Flavel Andos has a high drop rate of Sturdy Armor. Flavel Andos can be found in Eryth Sea.
Sturdy Armor can be purchased from the Nopon Archsage for a measly 700 Noponstones apiece.
Sturdy Armor is a quest item needed to complete the timed quest “The Deciphering Machine”. 6 are needed to complete the quest and the quest expires on Chapter 17.
Sturdy Armor is a material that is used for Colony 6's reconstruction. You need four Sturdy Armors to advance Colony 6's House to level 3. For more information about Colony 6 Reconstruction, see our guide below.
