Sturdy Armor is a tradable item from NPCs in Alcamoth (Unavailable after the events in Chapter 17). Jer' Ell, Galdo, and Cian in particular, has the item. It can also be obtained by overtrading with Arielle.
Flavel Andos has a high drop rate of Sturdy Armor. Flavel Andos can be found in Eryth Sea.
Sturdy Armor can be purchased from the Nopon Archsage for a measly 700 Noponstones apiece.
Sturdy Armor is a quest item needed to complete the timed quest “The Deciphering Machine”. 6 are needed to complete the quest and the quest expires on Chapter 17.
