Using characters with strong area attacks is the best way to clear the challenge in the fastest manner possible. Increase your party's defense stat by equipping better armor and muscle gems so your party won't need to rely on Sharla's heals.

Your character choice will depend on when you tackle this challenge, but the characters that gain strong area attacks early are Melia, Reyn, and Shulk. Melia's Blaze in particular, can rip through the enemies with ease and can guarantee you an S rank.

This is the best wave to use a Chain Attack. With Shulk as the party leader and Melia second, use the arts Stream Edge, Discharge, War Swing, Buster (if chain continues). This combo is enough to destroy this wave completely.
