| Laser | An Ether attack that deals massive damage. Ancient Daedala uses this against targets that are far away. |
| Bolt Screw | Inflicts Blow Down and Daze The Daze part will not apply if target is immune to Blow Down |
| Rivoluzione | Inflicts Bleed |
| Vento | Inflicts Topple |
| Laser | Laser is used against targets that are far away. Ancient Daedala's long detection range means that it will always start the fight with Laser. |
| Conquisita X | A rank X talent art that inflicts bleed |
How to Beat Ancient Daedala
Recommended Gems
| Night Vision | Increases the accuracy of physical attacks during the night by (%). |

| Topple Plus | Extends the duration for which an enemy suffers Topple by (%). |
| Good Footing | Grants resistance against Blow-Down by (%). |
| Debuff Resist | Grants resistance against all debuffs by (%). |
| Spike Defence | Decreases Spike damage taken by (%). |
Good Footing is recommended to avoid Ancient Daedala's Blow Down Daze combo from Bolt Screw. Spike Defence gems are also recommended to defend against Daedala's spike ability. Night Vision gems also starts to become necessary to be able to hit these high leveled enemies.

Helps against Ancient Daedala's initial laser move and other nasty arts. This allows Shulk to bring out Shield, Armour, or Speed when it's needed.
Stat Buffs Against Higher Leveled Enemies

Skills that provides buffs when battling against higher leveled enemies are highly recommended against Super Bosses and Ancient Daedala is no exception.
Chain Link Boosters

Ultimate Teamwork
| Ultimate Teamwork | Increases chain attack damage (25%). | Owner Shulk |
|---|
More damage for Chain Attacks means a faster battle and Ancient Daedala's low HP pool can quickly go down with this skill.

A topple lock party. Shulk is the most important character due to his Monado Shield and Enchant arts.
Battle Strategy
Ancient Daedala will detect you from a distance. If Glorious Future is learned, immediately use Shulk's Armour to survive the attack. Hurry near Daedala and quickly fill your party gauge. Your goal is to Topple Lock Ancient Daedala so building up the party gauge (and Fiora's tension if she's in the party) is the main goal. Once Daedala has been toppled, never let up your assault and keep on using Topple Skills whenever a Chain Attack is available.
Notable Items from Ancient Daedala
Veritas Glyph
All Super Bosses drop the Veritas Glyph. This is the only item that can be traded for a Love Source.
Night Vision Cylinders
The only source of Night Vision Cylinders. Make sure to collect lots of Night Vision Cylinders before proceeding against the other super bosses.
Heat Sink Cylinders
If you include Sharla in your team, make sure to get Heat Sink Cylinders from Daedala. This gem allows Sharla to use arts for a longer amount of time and keep everyone's HP up.
