This page explains the effects of Monado Speed, one of Shulk's Monado Arts in Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition (XC1) for the Nintendo Switch. Find out how to use Monado Speed, and whether or not this art is worth leveling up!
List of Contents
|Effect||Envelop an ally in the Monado's power, improving evasion.|
When enemies use arts, their names are in different colors. Red names indicate the Art is Physical, and can be dodged using Monado Speed. If you see visions of the future where enemies use Physical Arts, this icon will appear next to the Speed Art.
Then, you activate it and choose which of your allies will get the buff by selecting an ally from the menu on the right using the arrow keys.
If done correctly, your enemies should miss their attacks on your selected party member.
Generally speaking, Monado Speed is not really worth investing AP into, because doing so will only increase the duration of the evade buff. For the most part, you can just keep it at level one and you will have no problem using it in time for a vision tag. Only upgrade it if you find yourself using it a ton outside of Shulk's visions, or if you have extra AP to spend.
