Why is Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels) Good?
Highest Specialty Priority
Kitasan Black currently has the highest Specialty Priority for any Speed card in the game, sitting at 100 Specialty Priority at MLB. This means that she has a higher chance of appearing in Speed training compared to other cards with lower Specialty Priority, which is especially important if you want to maximize her Friendship Training.
While there will be Speed support cards in the future that have higher Special Priority (like Duramente or Almond Eye), it will take a while before they become available in the game's global version. This makes Kitasan Black relevant for a long time.
High Training Effectiveness
Other than her high Specialty Priority, her high Training Effectiveness makes it easier to get the stats that you need for your Trainee. Her high Training Effectiveness, combined with her high Specialty Priority and good Friendship Bonus and Mood Effect, makes her frequent Friendship Trainings even more effective.
Consistent Gold Skill
Professor of Curvature, the rare skill that you can get after finishing all of Kitasan Black's chain events, is a very consistent Gold Velocity Skill, able to activate on all race tracks with ease. Additionally, as the skill itself has a cooldown, it can potentially trigger twice, especially in longer races.
Good Support Card Events
Other than its stats and skills, this card also has good Support Card Events that can increase Mood, recover Energy, or even provide Practice Perfect. The events that can provide Mood increases, in particular, are very useful, as they help you increase your Trainee's mood without having to use up a turn for Recreation.
Better at Higher Uncap Levels
It is important to note, however, that this support card performs at its best at LB3 or MLB. This is because the card's Specialty Priority stat unlocks at LB3, pushing it to a maximum of 60 at LB3, and the full 100 at MLB.
While the card is still usable at lower uncap levels thanks to its other stats, the 20 Specialty Priority you get from its Unique Perk is not enough to make her reliably appear in Speed training. As such, try to aim for at least LB3 when rolling for Kitasan Black (Fire at My Heels).
